EMDR INTENSIVES

EMDR Intensives for Autoimmune Bodies

You’ve explained your pain to every doctor you’ve ever met. Your body is still keeping the score.

Stress, conflict, difficult appointments, and painful anniversaries can sometimes intensify symptoms. EMDR intensives offer focused support for experiences your nervous system may still be holding onto.

The Loop No One Warned You About

Stressful Experience

Nervous System Stays on Alert

Your Body Feels the Impact

You Brace for the Next Flare

Understanding the cycle doesn’t always stop your nervous system from reacting.

That’s where EMDR Therapy can come in.

What is an EMDR Intensive?

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. An intensive provides extended blocks of focused EMDR work over one or several days instead of spreading sessions across many weeks.

EXTENDED SESSIONS
More time to stay engaged in the work.

FOCUSED SCHEDULE
Consecutive sessions help preserve momentum.

PERSONALIZED SUPPORT
Preparation, pacing, breaks, and a customized workbook.

Designed With Your Body in Mind

Built Around Your Energy

Sessions are planned with flexibility and pacing in mind.

Fewer Trips

Less repeated commuting, scheduling, and disruption.

Flexible Around Flares

The intensive is planned around what your body can realistically manage.

Rest Is Part of the Plan

Breaks and recovery are built into the experience.

IS EMDR INTENSIVES A GOOD FIT?

It May Be a Good Fit If...

You’ve done therapy and still feel stuck in your body.
Stress or medical experiences seem connected
with flares.
Weekly appointments are difficult to maintain.
You want focused EMDR work over a shorter period.
You already have coping tools and emotional support.

It May Not Be the Right Time If...

X  You’re in an acute medical crisis or unstable flare.
X  You don’t yet have strong coping tools.
X  You want EMDR to replace medical treatment.
X  You cannot make room for rest afterward.

What Might a 3-Day Intensive Look Like?

DAY 1

Prepare & Map

Build safety, establish resources, and identify what you want to work on.

DAY 2

Process

Focused EMDR reprocessing with breaks and integration.

DAY 3

Integrate & Move Forward

Continue processing as needed and create a supportive aftercare plan.

What If I Flare During My Intensive?

We plan for that possibility from the beginning. Sessions can pause, shorten, or be rescheduled when needed.

PAUSE • REST • ADJUST

Trauma Doesn’t Have to Look Dramatic to Matter

A difficult diagnosis, hospitalization, years of not being believed, or grief over a changing body can all be meaningful places to begin.
